Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to announce a new opportunity for a Finance Transaction Processor to join a thriving manufacturing business in Alton, Hampshire. As a key member of the finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate management of accounts payable processes. This includes coding and processing invoices, liaising with the purchasing team on queries, and ensuring that all invoices are approved according to the company's policies. Additionally, the Finance Transaction Processor will be responsible for correctly accounting for VAT on purchases and storing invoices securely for month-end reporting purposes.

The ideal candidate will be able to support the month-end process and close the purchase ledger by the last working day of the accounting month. They will also be responsible for providing information as required on purchases and supporting the achievement of budgeted sales and profit.

Salary Range: £32,000 - £37,000 per annum.
