About the Role
We are seeking a caring and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to join our Chartwells team. As a key member of our food service team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and customers, while developing your skills and knowledge in food preparation, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality food products, meeting the expectations of our clients and customers
- Craft eye-catching food displays that draw customers in and promote our brand
- Proudly represent Chartwells, embodying our positive brand image and values
- Handle transactions efficiently and effectively, operating the cash register as needed
- Uphold the highest standards of Food Handling & Hygiene, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Previous experience in a similar catering role is highly desirable, but not essential
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is approximately $35,000-$40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
