Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the quality and upkeep of all hotel linen, including F&B linen and uniforms.
  • Oversee the guest laundry requests to the highest quality and service standards.
  • Manage the hotel's uniforms, its quality, issuance program, and inventory.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all laundry and valet-related areas.
  • Implement and maintain laundry policies and procedures, ensuring safe work practices in liaison with engineering.
  • Manage the relationship and contract with the outsourced laundry company, holding regular meetings to ensure quality and minimize discrepancies.
  • Create a laundry program to assist with generating revenue and minimizing costs.
  • Oversee the relationship with contractors, such as chemical suppliers and outsourced laundry companies, to ensure quality and cost control.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Laundry Manager in a luxury hotel.
  • Strong financial acumen, able to create revenue streams and cost control.
  • People leader and trainer with prior experience managing diverse teams.
  • Self-starter, with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
