Teaching Assistant for Early Years and KS1

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a successful primary school in the London Borough of Bexley.

As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide essential support to pupils across Early Years and KS1 classes. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and contributing to a positive learning environment.

About the Position:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with SEN and a strong understanding of child development principles. You will be expected to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop effective strategies for supporting children with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide general teaching assistant support across multiple classes
  2. Work closely with teachers to develop effective strategies for supporting children with SEN
  3. Take the initiative to address the needs of individual pupils and contribute to a positive class environment

The estimated salary range for this position is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Job Type: Full-time
