We are seeking an experienced and skilled ICT Solutions Designer to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a key member of our Digital Services team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions to support our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop solutions to ensure supportability, usability, and efficiency in the delivered solution.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze and investigate incidents using all tools available.
  • Support and Escalation: Lead on complex incident resolution with the support of other Subject Matter Experts in the team. Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Collaboration and Implementation: Work with our Business Analysts to ensure requirements are successfully implemented. Engage in 'change managed' implementation activities such as small configuration changes, testing, and upgrades.
  • Mentoring and Development: Mentor junior staff and support colleagues in other parts of Digital Services.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least one year's experience working with Oracle Fusion Payroll.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to form close working relationships with stakeholders such as Business Analysts, Project Managers, Customers, and our Assurance and Quality Control Teams.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrate a history of building strong customer relationships and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
