About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our enthusiastic and highly productive retail management team in our Briscoes Cambridge store. As a leader who lives and breathes striving for customer excellence, you'll be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members to meet and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the profitability of the store/s within the Profit Centre (PC)
  • Maintain the integrity of inventory
  • Ensure administrative and audit processes are followed
  • Lead by example and promote a safe environment for our people and customers through actively promoting our "Safe Home Every Day" framework
Requirements
  • Relevant retail experience, ideally in a big-box retail setting
  • Prior experience of managing staff
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and sales skills
  • A high level of business acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated, and work as a team player
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts including weekends
