We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Woodlands in York. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the centre.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the centre
  • Working collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Providing a high level of customer service to residents and their families
  • Complying with COSHH and health and safety regulations
  • Ensuring the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Following the correct use of colour code systems within the centre
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is completed daily
  • Maintaining standards of infection control while working within the laundry area and generally within the centre
  • Taking initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the rota but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standards
