This role requires a proactive and passionate individual who can guide a team of engineers to deliver innovative solutions using the latest technologies, supporting MBDA across the whole project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage technical projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate software and hardware components, including real-time simulation systems and experimentation platforms.
  • Develop and implement agile methodologies to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, define project scope, and establish project timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain and enhance existing simulation tools and technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading technical projects, with a strong track record of delivering complex software and hardware solutions.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple deadlines.

  • A competitive salary of circa £65,000 per annum, plus bonus up to 21% of base salary.
