Electrical Tutor / Assessor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assessor to join our successful team, based from home in the Newcastle region. As an Electrical Tutor / Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering Electrical apprenticeships to a caseload of learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving apprenticeship qualifications, including Functional skills
  • Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved electrical training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner
  • Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews
Requirements:
  • A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
  • Teaching qualification (desirable)
  • Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 (desirable)
  • L3 Electrical / Electrotechnical qualification
  • A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within electrical installation
  • Experience of working remotely
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
  • Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
