Job Description: Gantry Crane Installation Technician

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is looking for a skilled Gantry Crane Installation Technician to join our team. As an Installation and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning gantry cranes, jib cranes, and runway beams at customer sites across the UK.

Key Duties:

  1. Installing and testing gantry cranes, jib cranes, and runway beams in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
  2. Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.
  3. Maintaining accurate records of installations, testing, and commissioning activities.
  4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical installation and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and willingness to travel throughout the UK.

  • A competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum.
