Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join our team at Carbon60. As a key member of our offshore windfarm operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, and promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
  • SAP duties as required, reporting to Lead SAP.
  • Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
  • Provide isolations and safety documentation for the project.
  • Working under client High Voltage safety rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules).
  • Assisting in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
  • Provide personal supervision if required.
  • Conduct and review point of work risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Full GWO: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
  • Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step.
  • Offshore HUET.
  • Knowledge of WTG WTSR.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules.
  • ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or above.
