Forensic Psychologist

Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise Forensic Psychologists in Training, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Conduct comprehensive forensic assessments, formulate effective plans, and contribute to psychological treatment for prisoners with complex needs.
- Collaborate with the Psychology and Interventions team, prisoners, and the wider prison community to promote a culture of rehabilitation and support.
- Develop and deliver training on managing behaviours, personality disorders, and complex case formulations to enhance effective prisoner management.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Forensic Psychologist to make a meaningful contribution to the rehabilitation of prisoners and support the development of a psychologically led unit. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of prisoners, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the ongoing development of our prison's rehabilitation programs.
Requirements- HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist with a strong background in forensic mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with prisoners, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
- Knowledge of psychological theories and interventions, with a focus on rehabilitation and offender management.
