CNC Miller/Turner Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller/Turner to join our team at Core Laboratories. As a CNC Miller/Turner, you will be responsible for mechanically manufacturing components to the required quality and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC machines to within drawing specifications and within allocated times.
  • Perform first-off inspection and in-process inspection, including filling out quality inspection sheets and route cards.
  • Use measuring equipment, including micrometers and verniers.
  • Produce programs and back them up, including creation of a setting sheet.
  • Work well as part of a team and on an individual basis, with the ability to work additional hours when required.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient work practices.
  • Good maintenance and storage of equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Assist with internal training, as required.
  • Good housekeeping at all times.

Requirements:

  • Related industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Competent in all aspects of manufacturing requirements and considerable experience working on similar machines.

Work Environment:

This position is based site-based with significant part of working being office-based with occasional site visits.
