Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our production operations in the Stockport Area, Northwest UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring high standards of machinery efficiency and reliability.

The role requires collaboration with the Engineering Manager to develop and maintain maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying problems on machinery
  • Implementing corrective actions and preventative measures to minimize downtime
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Estimated Salary: £44,000 per annum
