Job Description: Critical Facility Site Lead

About VIRTUS

VIRTUS Data Centres is a UK-based data centre provider that owns, designs, builds, and operates efficient and flexible data centres.

We are seeking an experienced Critical Facility Site Lead to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the site, including customer implementations, operational continuity, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage facilities, procurement, risk management, and audit compliance.
  2. Ensure zero downtime, manage customer SLAs, and escalate potential issues.
  3. Support the performance management of FM Service Providers.
  4. Create a positive team environment, lead by example, and coach direct reports.
  5. Assist with monthly reporting, quality updates, and attendance at service review meetings.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in data centre or critical management roles.
  • Team management experience and ability to create a positive team environment.
  • Process management experience in live operational environments.
  • Incident management experience in business-critical environments.
  • Financial management and budgeting experience.
  • Health and Safety ISO standards and compliance knowledge.
