We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Kirkley Lodge in Middlesbrough. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day minor maintenance and repairs to a high standard, ensuring a happy and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including gardening and building repairs.
- Differentiating between minor repairs and when more specialist skills are required.
- Ensuring equipment is used safely, with instructions and health and safety procedures being followed at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in gardening, building, or maintenance is desirable.
- A range of practical skills, including maintenance and gardening.
- Understanding of data protection and confidentiality and the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
- Health and safety in the workplace.
