About the Role

The Royal College of Music is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support and lead on the review, development, implementation, and management of a wide range of projects, as well as Estates and FM policies, procedures, and functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Estates and FM policies, procedures, and functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Line-manage the House Manager and Box Office Supervisor, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and project proposals, ensuring alignment with the College's strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, with a background in estates operations and visitor engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take emergency action when necessary.
  • Confidence in report writing, data analysis, and active management of project work and contractors.
