Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Specialist to join our Infrastructure team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert project controls support to our clients across various sectors, including energy, defence, rail, airports, highways, water, and utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with project managers and cost engineers to develop and maintain project schedules, cost plans, and resource allocation plans.
- Provide performance reporting and analysis support to project teams, including progress monitoring, variance reporting, and risk management.
- Develop and implement project control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
- Conduct assurance reviews to ensure the quality and accuracy of project schedules and cost plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project controls, with a strong background in programme management, earned value management, change and risk management, planning, project controls, and/or PMO.
- Excellent knowledge of project planning principles, including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and schedule logic.
- Technical competence in schedule construction, including task creation, duration estimation, and resource allocation.
- Working knowledge of planning systems, such as Primavera, Project Online, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
