Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fire Engineering Specialist to join our Building Design team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fire engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

The role will involve working on a variety of projects across different sectors, including commercial, residential, and transportation. You will be responsible for managing multiple engineering projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant fire safety standards and codes.

You will also be required to support junior team members, provide guidance and training, and contribute to the development of fire strategies and risk assessments. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving project milestones and budgets, as well as stay current with regulations and legislation affecting the field of fire engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple engineering projects from inception to delivery.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving project milestones and budgets.

Requirements:
  • Engineering degree in fire engineering or related field.
  • Strong experience in fire engineering roles, preferably in consultancy.
  • Good understanding of fire standards and codes, including BS9999, NFPA 130, and EN45545.
