Exciting Opportunity for Utility Surveyor

Risk Management and Safety (RSK) Group is seeking an experienced Utility Surveyor to join our site investigation team in the South East, UK. Our team is based in various locations, including Addlestone, Tonbridge, and Hemel Hempstead.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career within our successful RSK Group. The successful applicant will work under the guidance of the Team Leader and contribute to our clients' success in the property, civil engineering, oil and gas, nuclear, renewable energy, water, and transport sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake site work using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Locating (EML) techniques for on-site service avoidance in preparation for intrusive site investigation works.
  • Process and draft utility mapping projects to PAS128 standards.
  • Manage ongoing projects and liaise with site investigation teams for project scheduling.
Requirements:
  • Utility Surveyor with 2-4 years' experience.
  • Experience of undertaking site work using EML and cover lifting techniques for utility mapping works to PAS128 standard.
  • Familiarity with GSSI GPR and Leica total station and GPS survey equipment.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Utilities Mapping and Surveying, or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including working with tablets for on-site digital data capture.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and CAD.
  • UK driving license.
