Senior Geoscientist

JBA Consulting is a leading provider of environmental services, and we are currently seeking a Senior Geoscientist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your expertise in geoscientific analysis and interpretation to support our clients' environmental and geotechnical needs.

We are offering a salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex geoscientific projects, including land quality assessments, ground investigations, and site restoration/remediation. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading geoscientific investigations and data interpretation
• Developing and implementing effective remediation strategies
• Collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Preparing technical reports and presentations

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (geology, chemistry, engineering geology, or earth/environmental sciences)
• Chartered status with a relevant professional society
• Proven experience in geoscientific analysis and interpretation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A valid UK driving license
