Job Title: School Attendance Officer - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced School Attendance Officer to work on a temporary-permanent basis in a school based in Castle Donington. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality
* Identify students who require support with their attendance
* Liaise with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of House, and Tutors regarding students who are of concern
* Raise attendance issues with parents
* Meet with students and parents to support them in improving attendance
* Meet with Education Welfare Officer on a weekly basis
* Refer students who are not meeting attendance targets

Requirements:

* Previous experience as an Attendance Officer in schools or experience working within school administration
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for a new one
