About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Gate Maintenance Technician to join our team at First Military Recruitment Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work on automated gate systems, barriers, intercoms, and other access control systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and service automated gates, barriers, intercoms, and other access control systems to ensure smooth operation.
  2. Attend breakdown call outs to repair automated gates and associated equipment in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  3. Work on various equipment individually and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
  4. Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
  5. Complete site reports upon completion of work from each visit.
  6. Repair, service, and maintain automated entry systems including gates, barriers, intercoms, and other access control systems.
  7. Identify faults by observing electromechanical devices in operation.
  8. Provide technical support to the team and customers on products and services.
  9. Assist in capturing requirements for upgrade and design of future systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in breakdown repairs, servicing, and maintaining automated entry systems and other access control systems.
  • Familiarity with BFT, NICE, DEA, VIDEX, PAXTON, and similar products.
  • A valid full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points.
