About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a leading care home provider. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents, working closely with the Home Manager to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of care staff to provide effective care planning and support to residents.
  • Ensure residents are empowered to participate in decision-making and are enabled to live fulfilling lives.
  • Observe and report on resident behaviors and staff interactions to maintain good care practice.
  • Assist in developing and implementing social activities for residents.
  • Administer medication, including ordering and stock control, in accordance with the Medication Policy.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Deputy or Home Manager in a care home setting.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and develop effective care plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of care standards and regulations.
