About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic chef to join our kitchen team at Best Thyme Cafe. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to deliver high-quality breakfast service and support our lunch preparations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
  2. Lunch Support: Assist with food preparation and service during lunch hours as needed.
  3. Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned after use.
  4. Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and communicate with the kitchen team to ensure supplies are available.
  5. Menu Development: Collaborate with the team to create and refine menu items, incorporating fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  6. Customer Service: Ensure timely and efficient service to meet customer expectations.
  7. Safety and Hygiene: Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance needs.

Pay Details: Up to £11.50 per hour

Work Schedule: 16 – 25 hours per week
