Financial Controller

Join our esteemed team at Hays Accountancy and Finance as we seek a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our financial operations.
As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for the coordination and production of regular management accounts for our Group entities.
Key Objectives:
- Prepare periodic management accounts for assigned Group entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with Operations colleagues to offer effective business partnering, advice, and management information to support decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce local statutory accounts, including preparing supporting schedules, liaising with local advisers, and resolving queries.
- Prepare and submit overseas direct and indirect tax returns, liaising with external tax advisors as needed.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and deliver annual budgets and forecasts for areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, QBE or equivalent
- Excellent IT skills, including extensive use of Excel and accountancy packages
- Experience of working for a multi-national company in a Finance capacity and/or with multi-currencies is desirable
