Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team at Build People, focusing on geospatial services in the UK and abroad. With a strong track record of delivering projects on time and budget, we offer a range of innovative survey solutions across various sectors.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience working as a Land Surveyor, with a robust understanding of technical requirements and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for taking projects from field to finish, liaising with clients, and providing professional advice.

This role involves combining hybrid working with travel to projects/schemes of work in the London, Home Counties, and East Anglia regions. We require a full UK driving licence and flexibility to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake surveys using Total Station, Laser Scanners, and GNSS equipment
  • Liaise with clients on project requirements/specifications and provide professional advice
  • Create technical survey reports
  • Mentor and coach less experienced surveyors
  • Contribute effectively to team projects and deadlines
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years' experience working as a Land Surveyor
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to use initiative and problem-solve under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence
