We are seeking a highly skilled US UK Tax Senior Manager/Director to join our team at Ambition. This role will focus on providing expert tax advice to entrepreneurial and business clients, working closely with our legal and financial advisors to support high-net-worth individuals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cultivating and maintaining advisory relationships with a diverse client base, adapting to various needs and demands.
  • Enhancing the firm's standing by collaborating with legal and financial advisors to support high-net-worth individuals.
  • Engaging with existing clients to evaluate and improve service delivery, ensuring client confidence and satisfaction.
  • Overseeing a team of Senior Managers and Managers, ensuring all tax engagements are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Working alongside the Partner to assess team capabilities and strategize on talent acquisition to meet business needs.

Requirements include:

  • Possessing recognised tax qualifications such as CTA or ATT, and Enrolled Agent status.
  • Bringing a decade or more of experience in US/UK tax, with a proven track record at the Director level or the capability to assume the role immediately.
  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge in US tax form authorisation, immigration tax planning, and the application of the UK/US tax treaty.
  • Possessing an advanced understanding of foreign tax credits, CFC rules, Subpart F income, GILTI, and related tax election strategies.
