Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Educator to join our team as a Lecturer to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, and assessment on Level 3 Childcare, Level 3 Health & Social Care and Access to Nursing and Midwifery, as well as provide academic tutorial support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teaching and assessment activities including lectures, setting/marking coursework, practicals, and field work to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement and learner skills development central.
- Act as a Course Leader and Academic Tutor, providing academic tutorial support to students.
- Identify opportunities for employment and skills-focused study for learners and seek ways of improving performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery, obtaining and analysing feedback.
- Qualified to degree level as a minimum in Childcare and Education, Early Years, Health and Social Care, Nursing, or another relevant subject, you will have experience of teaching Level 3 Childcare, Level 3 Health & Social Care and Access to HE in an FE College, School, or private provider.
- Have a successful record of tutoring and supporting learners and of setting and implementing target setting, monitoring and reviewing progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified to degree level as a minimum in Childcare and Education, Early Years, Health and Social Care, Nursing, or another relevant subject.
- Experience of teaching Level 3 Childcare, Level 3 Health & Social Care and Access to HE in an FE College, School, or private provider.
- Successful record of tutoring and supporting learners and of setting and implementing target setting, monitoring and reviewing progress.
