Job Title: Academic and Operations Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Academic and Operations Officer to join the University of Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operational aspects of the National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre (NAPIC) consortium, ensuring the delivery of its scientific and translational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage external relationships with academic and commercial partners
  • Oversee all budgetary aspects and the delivery of funded projects
  • Produce the consortium's annual report for NAPIC
  • Manage a highly functional operational team located across the four co-lead organisations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operational management and leadership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
