Job Overview:

As a Senior Fluid Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-performance engineering solutions that meet complex cross-functional interactions and requirements.

You will work closely with customers to develop requirements and acceptance criteria based on operational scenarios, use cases, and other design considerations.

This role involves collaborating with suppliers to develop and capture equipment and component specifications that meet the demanding needs of the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-performance engineering solutions that meet complex cross-functional interactions and requirements
  • Collaborate with customers to develop requirements and acceptance criteria based on operational scenarios, use cases, and other design considerations
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and capture equipment and component specifications
  • Conduct engineering calculations and analysis to inform design decisions and demonstrate system performance
  • Develop the package of design evidence required to justify a safe, effective design and generate customer confidence in the design solution

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level in Engineering, Mechanical or Science Subjects
  • Chartered Engineer within a recognised engineering institute
  • Background in Fluid Systems Design
  • Design documentation with the ability to present these to customers and wider groups

Location: The role is open to candidates located in various locations including Barrow-in-Furness, Brough, Filton, Frimley, Portsmouth, Weymouth, or Manchester.

Salary: £68,000 - £88,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
