**About the Role:**

We are seeking an exceptional Care Professional to join our team as an Independent Living Teacher. As part of a supportive staff team, you will have a passion for improving the lives of autistic pupils and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to planning and delivering engaging lessons and engaging with a wide range of professionals, including therapists, to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.

**Our School:**

Sutherland House School is a non-maintained specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 3-19. Our school prides itself on creating personalised learning opportunities with a vision for reaching potential for each individual pupil.

We offer small class groups, favourable staffing levels, and excellent opportunities for training and professional development. The school has an Ofsted rating of Good.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of autistic pupils.
  • To work collaboratively with a wide range of professionals, including therapists, to ensure pupils reach their full potential.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience working with autistic individuals or in a related field.
  • Full training and support will be provided to successful applicants.

**Salary Information:**

The estimated salary for this role is around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
