Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Financial Analyst to join our team at Wincanton Logistics. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial aspects of our contracts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing commercial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and interpret financial reports, including monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement.
- Contract Management: Manage financial aspects of contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management.
- Commercial Insights: Provide commercial acumen and support decision-making across the business.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve existing financial processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or part-qualified with experience in a related finance role.
- Skills: Excellent customer relationship skills, mathematical and modelling skills, and advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience: Proven experience in contract financial management, financial analysis, and commercial insights.
