About the Company:
Tandem Personnel is a leading engineering firm based in Ipswich, committed to excellence in customer service. We are seeking an experienced Sales and Production Administrator to join our team, supporting our internal sales function. In this role, you will respond to customer queries, process orders, and work closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Answer customer sales inquiries and follow up on quotes
* Process customer orders for new products and calibration services
* Enter orders into our Sage 200 system and produce relevant documents
* Arrange transportation with freight forwarders and prepare customs paperwork as needed
* Work closely with the Production and Service Controller to ensure timely delivery
* Maintain a comprehensive customer database
* Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email
About the Ideal Candidate:
We seek a driven individual with previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably within manufacturing or engineering. Strong IT skills are essential. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering top-notch customer experiences, we welcome your application.
Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on skills and qualifications
