You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex genomic datasets, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Development and validation of bioinformatics pipelines for clinical and research purposes.
  • Integration of genomic insights into patient care through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Optimization of tools, algorithms, and workflows for genomic data analysis.
  • Provision of bioinformatics expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders.
RequirementsEducation and Technical Skills
  • MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with bioinformatics tools and pipelines (e.g., Nextflow, GATK, or similar).
Clinical Genomics Expertise
  • Strong understanding of human genetics and genomics, particularly in clinical contexts.
  • Experience with variant annotation, prioritization, and interpretation.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
