Clinical Psychology Services for Youth

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist clinical psychology assessments and short-term interventions for children with diabetes.
- Lead the psychological approach to care within the MDT for children with diabetes.
- Communicate effectively with health and social care staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996).
- Experience of working with children and adolescents with long-term conditions.
- Knowledge of paediatric medicine and the management of children and young people with diabetes.
