About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Manager to join our team at our newest operational Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith, Kent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers, Technicians, and Maintenance Technicians, driving their success by assessing their capabilities, identifying development opportunities, and motivating them on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Engineers, Technicians, and Maintenance Technicians
- Assess team members' capabilities and identify development opportunities
- Motivate team members on a daily basis
- Allocate workload and address disciplinary issues
- Drive pace, accuracy, and standards across all aspects of the CFC
About You
We are looking for a passionate leader who is comfortable making critical decisions in a fast-paced environment. You will have experience in leading a team of Engineers within an automated FMCG environment and be familiar with automation hardware and software. You will also have a comprehensive understanding of production, picking, and storage MHE systems, as well as experience working with computerised maintenance management systems.
