Research Opportunities:

The Department of Psychology at Lancaster University is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Neuroscience to develop and enhance research and teaching in our growing Department.

We embed research reproducibility and R-based teaching across the taught curriculum and actively support open science initiatives.

Our research focuses on elucidating neurocognitive, behavioural, and perceptual processes across the lifespan, in neurotypical and clinical populations.

We have a rich suite of the latest technologies for examining neurocognition, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Multi-channel Transcranial electrical brain stimulation, several Electroencephalography setups, functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy, eye-trackers, motion tracking, Virtual Reality Suites, Computational Neuroscience facilities, Biophysics, sound-proof Auditory laboratories, polysomnography, and functional Transcranial Doppler.
