Electrical Project Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team at Hunter Philips Executive Search. As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the Grid Consultancy and Delivery team, assisting with project planning and coordination.

The Role

  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate resources and personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Coordinate activity of internal and external teams alongside the Grid Manager to ensure timely grid connection, energisation and commissioning of projects to full export capacity and hand over to operations teams.
  • Undertake, submit and manage grid applications, and serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with installation teams to ensure they have the necessary information, materials, and support to complete their work efficiently.
  • Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and other resources needed for each project.
  • Monitor project progress and perform quality checks to ensure installations meet company standards and client expectations.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have existing grid connection experience for projects, and experience of development and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Must have experience of project development, design and operational engineering activity, and be qualified in electrical engineering (or similar), or have experience in the electricity field.
  • Must have a good understanding of the grid connection process from beginning to end, and be technically astute.
  • Must have exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
