This role presents an opportunity for a meticulous Costing Accountant to support and lead a dedicated team within the Accounting & Finance department of a globally recognised life science company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the finance team to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Conducting cost analyses and preparing budget reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Developing and implementing cost-effective solutions to drive business growth.
  • Collaborating with the financial controller to define financial strategy and policy.
  • Conducting risk assessments and financial forecasts to ensure business stability.
  • Ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Preparing financial statements for internal and external use.
  • Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.

Requirements

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • A professional certification such as CIMA or ACCA.
  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. SAP).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
