Decarbonisation Strategist

Role Overview

Ambition North Wales / Uchelgais Gogledd Cymru is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy and Net Zero Programme Manager to play a key role in decarbonising the regions economy. As part of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading the North Wales Growth Deals Low Carbon Programme and its diverse range of transformational projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for decarbonisation, and a good working knowledge of programme and project management methods.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders in the sector, including local authorities, government, the private sector, and our universities and colleges. This role will give you the chance to contribute to the implementation of the regional Growth Vision and Regional Economic Framework, ensuring sustainable growth and job creation in North Wales.

We offer a salary of £58,121 - £61,311 per annum, plus membership of the local government pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
