Key Responsibilities
Due to continued growth at Greencore Prepared Meals, we have exciting opportunities in new roles within the Production team in a fast-moving food manufacturing environment.
As a Production Operative, you will be an integral member of our close-knit team, dedicated to ensuring our top-notch products are manufactured and delivered to our customers.
You will work at the heart of a versatile shift team, contributing to the 24/7 food manufacturing operation. Your commitment will help Greencore manufacture and deliver products that are unbeatable in quality.
As a Production Operative, you will flex your skills across multiple departments, from maintaining hygiene standards to manning the production line. You will work with innovative machinery and automated plant equipment, and at times, you will be the maestro orchestrating these operations.
Great food is our core, and we uphold our high company standards and adhere to statutory hygiene regulations with unwavering dedication.
Requirements
- A good level of English and Maths
- Able to work a 4 on 4 off Days - 6:00am-6:00pm
- Experience in a similar role within FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)
- Ideally experience in a food manufacturing environment, but this isn't essential
- Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others
- A good attention to detail with a firm focus on Quality and Health & Safety
- Able to adapt well to change and undertake a variety of activities across our operation
- Demonstrating teamwork and communicating effectively developing relationships with team members and other teams across the site
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene (but this isn't essential as training will be given)
