Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to lead our residential projects team in Leicestershire. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing excellent time management strategies and acting as the principal point of contact with project clients and other consultants.

You will take the lead on a range of construction projects, supervising the work of Assistant Quantity Surveyors and Apprentices, and helping them to fulfill their potential. Your role will require attention to detail and a commitment to quality, as well as proficiency in measurement using CostX Measurement Software.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in running own projects quantity surveying and/or project management for either a Private Practice, Construction Company or related organisation.
  • Experience in running projects independently is required.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop effective time management strategies.
  2. Act as the principal point of contact with project clients and other consultants.
  3. Supervise the work of Assistant Quantity Surveyors and Apprentices, helping them to fulfill their potential.
  4. Foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues, promoting a collaborative and professional working environment.
