About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our team at GSL Education. As a Secondary ECT, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of varying abilities, creating a stimulating learning environment, and developing lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet curriculum standards.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Support students' academic and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Secondary ECT or in a similar teaching role.
  • Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum and effective teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
