About the Role

Mitie, a leading facilities management and professional services company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our National BMS Projects and Operations team, you will play a crucial role in the design, integration, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement BMS solutions for new projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Commission and test BMS installations to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sub-contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain a range of standard strategy and schematic designs for BMS systems.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct site visits to understand plant and site requirements, ensuring software strategies and head-end schematics accurately match.
  • Verify software strategy design throughout the commissioning process and deliver documented evidence of the completed system.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in BMS design, integration, and commissioning.
  • Proficiency in Trend SET software tool and ability to modify energy-biased software and professional schematics.
  • Strong understanding of IT networks and IP configuration.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
