Production Sanitarian

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production Sanitarian to join our team at VANRATH. As a key member of our production facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all production areas, equipment, and machinery meet food safety regulations.

This is a full-time position with regular hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm (40 hours per week, including a half-hour unpaid break). The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Production Sanitarian will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in food production. This includes routine cleaning and sanitisation tasks, adherence to hygiene standards, compliance with food safety regulations, waste management, equipment and machinery care, and health and safety compliance.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for production, adhering to strict cleaning schedules and protocols.
• Evaluate and improve cleaning processes and protocols to ensure efficient and effective sanitation practices.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, such as HACCP and BRC standards.
• Implement and maintain a robust waste management system, ensuring that waste materials are disposed of safely and in line with company procedures.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and free from contamination risks.
