About the Role

We are seeking an ER Policy Advisor to join our dynamic HR team at Royal Mail Group. As an ER Policy Advisor, you will provide expert advice and guidance to managers across the business on employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of ER cases, providing progressive tailored advice and scheduling activities based on risk assessment and case needs.
  • Review and draft letters and documents related to ER cases, providing feedback to managers.
  • Coach and upskill managers in people management, including robust decision-making, fairness, and consistency of application of ER policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate recording of case management details on our People Case Management system and proactive management of cases to conclusion.
  • Collaborate with wider HR teams and stakeholders to address complex ER matters.

About You

To excel in this role, you will possess excellent written and telephone communication skills, experience in coaching and upskilling managers, and a proven ability to deliver commercially savvy HR solutions to complex ER cases. Ideally, you will be CIPD qualified (level 5) and have a passion for continuous improvement and self-development.
