Senior Paraplanner Job Description

At IDEX Consulting Ltd, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Paraplanner to join our team in central Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HNW and Ultra HNW clients and their families and trusts, with a solid understanding of private banking and platform/custodian arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist Client Partners and the Head of Wealth Planning in researching client needs and developing recommendations.
  • Proactively complete research and analysis of client cases and market solutions.
  • Produce high-quality advice suitability recommendations for UHNW clients.
  • Deliver excellence for clients at all times, focusing on optimal outcomes.
  • Proactively obtain, collate, and review information/quotations required.
  • Coordinate parties, both internal and external, to ensure alignment in delivering for the client.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties.
  • Contribute to building a highly positive company and personal reputation.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of HNW and Ultra HNW clients and their families and trusts.
  • Strong practical knowledge of private banking and platform/custodian arrangements.
  • Strong financial planning understanding of markets, relevant jurisdictional taxation, asset classes, product wrappers, and tax structures.
  • Excellent paraplanning capability, researching and drafting suitability recommendations.
  • Strong communication and task management skills.
  • Professionalism, self-driven development of technical knowledge, and qualifications.
  • Keeping up to date on technical, legislative/regulatory changes in respective markets.
