Job Title: Labourer - Water/Utilities Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Labourer to join our team at Orwell Consulting Ltd as a Water/Utilities Specialist. As a Labourer in this role, you will be working as part of a two-person team, alongside a Drainage Ganger, to maintain and install drainage pipework for both clean and foul water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with an experienced Drainage Ganger to maintain and install drainage pipework
  • Undertake training to become a successful Drainage Engineer
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently
  • Work in a team environment to achieve project goals
  • Travel to different sites as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the groundworks, drainage, or water industry (not essential)
  • Valid driving licence with no more than 3 points
  • Ability to undertake training to become a successful Drainage Engineer
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and concentration
  • Physical fitness and lots of energy
