Job Description:

This position involves managing a team of 5 with direct line management responsibility for Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, and accounting and reporting to achieve key objectives. The role includes overseeing the maintenance of strong, efficient accounts payable processes for the family office, ensuring transactions are properly authorised.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of accountants and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Developing and implementing financial control policies and procedures
  • Overseeing the maintenance of strong financial controls, including segregation of activities, payment and banking controls etc.
  • Providing regular monitoring and reporting of KPIs
  • Reviewing and proposing changes to enhance control and efficiency
  • Working with the Product Owner and Finance Systems team to support system reviews, updates and other enhancements that improve the user experience in relation to the accounts payable systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing an account payable/receivable function and accounting and reporting. CIMA/ACCA qualified or part qualified, or QBE is also required. Good computer literacy skills, especially in MS Office and ERP systems, are essential.
